Drywall sanding is finished this week and we are ready for painting. Take a look at the vaulted ceilings in the foyer and the master bedroom.
We've got a masonry full wood burning gas fireplace with limestone mantle, corbels, & hearth. Our landscaper put in the stone bricks creating the english basement.
And the siding guys are installing the bead board porch ceiling.
The carpenters are finished with the first floor. The next step is to have the steel put up.
The mason is just about finished on the exterior, but still needs to complete the fireplace interior. Siding starts next week. The copper weathervane is looking good. We will be ready for drywall after drying out the house for a couple weeks.
Here are some shots of 1850 Hamilton just before and after the foundation forms were put up. We just passed the inspection today and the walls will be poured tomorrow. Now that the weather is cooperating we should really be able to get moving on this home.

The cold weather continues to slow us up. We are just starting the second floor walls for Hickory. I can already tell this house is going to look good. The layout is going to work really well.
We got the first floor deck on just before the temperatures dipped. It may be too cold to work for the next few days.
The exterior is looking nice. There are still touch ups and cleaning to do, but for the most part the exterior is finished.
The next step will be to set the steel and then we can start the deck & framing.
The footings have been poured and protected for the cold. We will have to wait for a warmer day to continue with the foundation walls.
