The exterior is looking good. We’re getting there, but we still need to do the final landscaping, paint the front door, and window cleaning. I’ll post an update on the interior after we’ve painted.

378 Michigan - Trusses
And here we have the trusses Installed.

This is just before we installed the roof trusses. We’re shooting to have the roof on and the house closed up before the end of the year. Hopefully, the weather holds out.

We’re in the middle of some nice fall weather here. It’s a great time for building.

We are starting carpentry on the 1st floor deck.

Foundation has been poured and back filled. The lot size on this one is big, at almost double the typical in-fill lot size you would find in Palatine. Due to this we have decided to spec a larger home here.
378 Michigan - Demo
We cleared the old house at 378 to open up the lot for a new one. We could build a ranch house similar to the one next door at 394 Michigan. At 100 x 146 this lot is one of the largest for this area in Palatine.
