Gary Wronkiewicz has been involved in the Real Estate and Development business since 1976. Starting in architecture and architectural space planning, he quickly moved into construction supervision, high-rise office management and Commercial Real Estate brokerage with nationally prominent firms such as Manufacturers Life Insurance Company and Arthur Rogers & Co.
He has been responsible for leasing, marketing and management of real estate office properties one million square feet in size. Throughout his career, he has been directly involved in corporate negotiations, developing individual property leasing strategies and developing strong broker cooperation.
In 1985 Gary, together with the late Barbara Wronkiewicz, formed The Stonefield Group, Inc., now over 30 years in business. Stonefield began specializing in commercial building management, interior office design and construction, and commercial office leasing brokerage with a primary focus on representing office and medical tenants in their search for office space.
In 1995 Gary further expanded Stonefield by beginning to develop residential properties while phasing out commercial building management.
Today Stonefield’s divisions specialize in Real Estate Investment and Development (developing several subdivisions), Custom Home Building (building over 40 custom residences), Multi-residential Development, Interior Office Construction (building over one half million square feet of office and medical suites), and Office Leasing Tenant Representation.

A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Gary attended the University of Illinois Chicago Campus graduate architecture program, earned a Real Property Administrator diploma from the Building Owners & Managers Institute, is a past member of Northern Illinois University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts Advisory Board, is a member of the Illinois Association of Realtors, and is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker.
